41. Irish Classical Theatre

625 Main Street

Sidway Building The Andrews Theater, home of the Irish Classical Theatre Company, actually lies in the footprint of three buildings that were devastated by a fire in the 1980s. After the fire, the buildings were demolished, except for the facades. The building on the far left was reduced from five stories to three stories to complement its neighbors. The present day theater was built behind the facades from the ground up to maintain the charming historic character of Main Street. Note the wonderful metalwork in the Celtic symbols and theater sign. The Irish Classical Theatre offers seating in the round for 200.
